Wildfire owners how have unlocked their boot-loaders using alpharev x running stock 2.2.1 with HTC Sense may be interested to hear of the fix.
The fix is for 2.2.1 HTC Sense where HTC wallpapers and the HTC settings wizard were not working properly, and default widgets were missing after a hard reset. The fix should work with all 2.2.1 ROMs including custom ROMs.
You’ll need to copy the file uploaded by the XDA member to your SD card, install a 2.2.1 ROM or use you backup, flash recovery recovery-clockwork-3.0.0.6-buzz or higher, flash sense-fix, hard reset and finally, reboot.
Instructions:
- Copy rom to your sdcard and Install 2.2.1 rom or use your backup
- Flash recovery recovery-clockwork-3.0.0.6-buzz or higher form here
- Download flash fix and Flash sense-fix and do Hard Reset
- Reboot Your Device and you are done
